'Aria the Crepuscolo' Anime Film Reveals Additional Staff, Trailer



The official website of the Aria anime series revealed additional staff, a key visual (pictured), and trailer for the Aria the Crepuscolo anime film on Friday. The film, originally scheduled for Winter 2020, will open in Japan on March 5, 2021.

Voice actress Kiyono Yasuno (Sounan Desu ka?Anne Happy♪) is joining the cast as Aletta Pace and also performing both the opening and ending themes "Felicita" and "echoes," respectively.

Takahiro Natori (Aria the Avvenire assistant director) is helming the film at J.C.Staff, with Junichi Satou (Aria the Animation) as the chief director. Youko Itou (Amanchu!) is serving as both the character designer and chief animation director. Shochiku ODS Business Office is distributing the film. The project is commemorating the television anime's 15th anniversary.

Synopsis
The season is fall and the city of Neo-Venezia is covered in fallen leaves. Something is bothering Anya, who works at Orange Planet. Her senior colleagues Alice and Athena haven't seen each other due to their busy schedules, which is making Athena feel sad. But for some reason, Alice seems to be avoiding her altogether.

With her friends Ai and Azusa's help, Anya tries to find a definitive way for Alice and Athena to get together. But during this time, Anya learns of a situation that only she can see because of where she stands. (Source: Shochiku)
